Overview

What is EEV?

EEV stands for Energy Envelope Vibration. It was designed to describe sound as structured vibratory behaviour unfolding through time, with enough precision to be parsed, validated, exported, and compared by software.

Why this format exists

The goal is not merely to name a pitch or a fundamental. EEV aims to preserve what gives a sound fingerprint its useful identity: temporal evolution, spectral density, resonances, modes, compact summaries, and fine trajectories when available.

What this website adds

The open-eev.link website is meant as a clean entry point. It does not replace the raw documents, but it helps readers understand what the format is, what its building blocks are, how to implement it, and who maintains the public presentation of this work.

Identity and context

EEV can carry identity, sound-family, material, playing-method, capture-environment, and tuning-reference information.

Summary and depth

Depending on the quality tier, the format may contain compact vectors, matrices, modes, tracked peaks through time, and other richer layers.

Transport and integrity

The public contract also distinguishes the text form and the compressed transport variant used for EEV.

Who it is for

  • developers who want to integrate EEV into their software
  • product teams that need to frame a realistic roadmap
  • technical writers and QA teams who want stable terminology
  • curious readers who want a serious introduction before the technical material

What this presentation does not claim to do

This public presentation does not replace a runtime, a reference parser, or the full technical documentation. It exists to make the framework more readable and to orient teams that want to go further.

Association and branch

The publishing framework displayed on this website is carried by Anahata Gong School, a French non-profit association. The branch / lab directly accessible online is AGSLab, at agslab.fr.

Developer / public contact

For any contact related to this public presentation of the format, the displayed address is gongvibration@gmail.com.

The website itself remains a lightweight multilingual PHP site, with no database and no SQL commands.
